Learning to tell the time or even know how long 10 minutes is when you are young can be really hard to get your head around. How many 3 year years do you know that actually understand how long 10 minutes really is. But with the Madame Irma watch telling the time can be simple. Instead of having numbers on the watch face, it has cute little animals. and a ring of colours. So instead of telling your child ‘In 10 minutes we will go to the park’.  You could say when the big finger points at the little pig, we’ll go to the park’. Young kids are a lot more likely to wait until the finger points to the pig than to a number that they haven’t learnt yet.

Not only is this a great watch for helping young kids with the time but it’s also a really pretty watch that comes in a range of colours. We went for the blue one, but you can also get it in pink, green, yellow and multi striped. The Madame Irma watch comes beautiful packed in a lovely matching box, making it a great present for a special occasion.

The strap is smooth and doesn’t rub. The cute little animal faces also light up in the dark, which I love. The watch is also water resistant up to 50 meters which is another plus. It comes with a 2 year warranty and includes the battery which should last about 3 years, again, another plus.

  1. I love these watches! I think the yellow watch is beautiful. My favourite animal on the watch is the elephant!

  2. I like the Madame Irma Watch – Blue. I guess my favourite animal depicted on the watch would be the Elephant.

  3. I like the blue one best (although I have a feeling my daughter would say the green one!) and as for the animals I like the curly horned sheep!

  4. I’m not sure what I think of these watches, to be honest. Even at 2 years of age, I’m trying to teach the boys their numbers. I would rather them know that 12 on a clock — or watch — is 12, rather than a rabbit!! 😉 Thanks for sharing though, always good to see new things! Thanks so much for linking up with #TwinklyTuesday.

  5. I like the blue watch and the cat. I think it’s a cute idea to help kids gain the spatial awareness of a clock face.

  6. To win a Madame Irma Watch would be just the thing
    I’d really love to win
It would help teach my daughter to tell the time
Before she grows up and reaches her prime!

  7. I love the Madame Irma original watch with its lovely striped strap – making it a great unisex piece. I love all the little animals especially the reindeer
