This is my very last board game to review as part of the Blogger Board Game Club. I have loved every moment of it and enjoyed finding and trying out some really amazing games. Most that I would never of considered buying myself. My last game is called Dixit, and this is one of my favourites.
To play Dixit game you need to have 6 cards each. The player who’s turn it is called the storyteller, they have to pick one of their cards and have to say a word or sentence associated with the card. The other players have to all pick one card from their own pile that is most associated with the given word or sentence and hand it to the storyteller without letting anyone else see.
The storyteller than shuffles all the cards then places them face up for all to see. And the other players have to try and guess which card is the storytellers.
If nobody or everybody finds the correct card, the storyteller scores 0, and each of the other players scores 2. Otherwise the storyteller and whoever found the correct answer score 3. Players score 1 point for every vote for their own card.
The game ends when the deck is empty or if a player scores 30 points. In either case, the player with the most points wins the game.
So say if I was the storyteller and I had the above six cards and chose the bottom right card and used the sentence ‘Going on a journey’.
The other players hand me their cards and I lay them all face up in front of everyone.
In the photo below, you can see that 2 players correctly guess my card. So, I would get a total of 6 points.
You track your score on the board, which is actually apart of the box (which I love) and the counters are wooden rabbits (which I love even more!)
There is space in the middle of the box to store all the cards and counters
I really enjoyed playing this game and so did my husband and all 3 kids. The game comes with 84 cards, but there are also different expansion card packs that you can buy and add to the game. Making it even more fun!
This is one of my favourite games we own!

I received the above game in return for this post. All opinions are mine
