Well, can you believe it’s September in just two days? The months are flying by. Most of August I have spent not working and just being with my family. We have been on lot’s of family walks and we also went to butlins. I think I have only done 2 blog posts this month, this one being my third. And today I am sharing with you what I got in July’s Degustabox. Yes, JULY’s, I am a bit behind, but better late than never, right?. I will also be sharing with you August Degustabox sometime next week.

So here is the vid of me opening July’s Degustabox:

And here is what I got in it.

The Products

Peckish Rice Crackers - cheddar cheese - Degustabox

Peckish – Cheese Trays

I have had these before but in a different flavour. Last time I brought them as a snack for myself while watching Saturday night TV. I got the sweet chilli ones and they were yummy. So I was happy to see this product in my box. These ones were cheese flavour and very nice. The kids loved these too, so I had to share them. Unlike the sweet chilli ones as the kids don’t like anything slightly spicy.

Misy Tasty - miso soup - Degustabox

Miso Tasty – Mugi Barley Miso Soup

I haven’t tried this one and don’t think I will. I have tried Miso soup before and I just don’t like it, so doubt I will like this one. And even if I did like it don’t think I would buy it at that price.

Priced at £3.75

London Flavours crisps - Degustabox

London Flavours

I got two packs of these crisp in my box. One in Lightly Salted the other was Cheese. No photo of the cheese pack as my husband sneaked them out the box and ate them! These were nice.

Priced at 95p each

My Overall Rating

Rowntrees Fruit Pastilles - Degustabox

Rowntree’s Fruit Pastilles

These Fruit Pastilles have 30% less sugar then the normal packs. I can’t eat these as they aren’t suitable for vegetarians but my husband and kids didn’t waste anytime devouring these.

These are priced at £1.29

Rosie's Pig Flat Tyre Cider with Rhubarb - Degustabox

Rosie’s Pig Flat Tyre

I have tried this drink before, but can’t remember if it was the same flavour or not. This one is Sparkling Cloudy Cider with Rhubarb. I really liked this. I am a big cider fan but I love the sweeter ones the most.

Priced at £2.00

My Overall Rating

Capsicana products - Degustabox

Capicana – Brazilian Smoked Paprika & Spices Seasoning Mix and Mexican Guacamole Mix

I have tried items from this brand before and always been really impressed. But I can’t comment on these ones yet, as they are still in my cupboard.

Priced at £1.00 for the seasoning mix and 65p for the guacamole mix

My Overall Rating

Percol Iced coffee flat white - Degustabox

Percol Iced Coffee

I received the flat white flavour of this iced coffee. I don’t drink coffee too often as I like it really sweet, which isn’t too good for me. This was ok, but not sweet enough for me. My husband tried it too but he said he didn’t like it, but that was mainly because he prefers his coffee hot.

My Overall Rating

Cadbury's Highlights drink - Degustabox

Cadbury’s Highlights Milk Chocolate

I am a big fan of Cadbury’s normal hot chocolate and drink it all the time through autumn and winter. But this one you are supposed to make up with water. Which is just to thin for me, much more prefer a creamy hot chocolate drink. I have also tried this will milk, but making it either way is tricky as the powder doesn’t dissolve properly. Would prefer to get the original one than this one.

Priced at £2.99

Pulsin Salted Caramel Raw Choc Brownie - Degustabox

Pulsin Salted Caramel Raw Choc Brownie

I have tried a few other flavours of these Pulsin bar before, but this was the first time I had tried this flavour. It was really nice and you can really taste the salted caramel. I think this one maybe my favourite flavour of Pulsin bars.

Priced at £1.59

Ribena Sparkling drinks - Degustabox

Ribena Sparkling

These remind me a little bit of J20’s. They are sparkling drinks and come in Blackcurrant and Pineapple & Passionfruit flavours. They are both really nice. And you can find these now available at most pubs.

Priced at £2.70 each

My Overall Rating

Heinz Salad Cream - Degustabox

Heinz Salad Cream

I am a big fan of Heinz Salad Cream. I only by Heinz, as cheaper versions just don’t taste the same. I go through loads of this in the summer as I use it in a lot of my pasta recipes – like my Fruity Summer Pasta and my End of Summer Pasta.

This is priced at £1.49
