The theme of May’s Degustabox is the World Cup.With plenty of drinks and snacks to eat while cheering your team on. I am not a massive football fan, but my husband is and I do like to watch the world cup. It’s only on every 4 years so I can just about manage it LOL.

You can see me opening the box in my video below:

And here is what we got:

World cup Degustabox 2018 review

The Products

Lucozade Energy – Original

Des opening my Degustabox before I could get to it and nick this drink and drank the whole thing. He loves Lucozade and prefers this original flavour to the orange one we got in April’s Degustabox.

Priced at £1.10

My overall rating

Santa Maria Latin American Kitchen

I got two items from this brand, Caribbean Creamy Chicken Curry Seasoning Mix and Mini Coconut & Black Pepper Soft Tortillas. The box came with a leaflet with a recipe that uses both these items, I just need to buy some single cream, but I keep forgetting about it, so I still haven’t got round to eating these. I know I will like them tough as they are right up my street.

Priced at £1.00 for the seasoning mix and £1.50 for the mini tortillas

My overall rating

Kitkat Bites White

Another item my husband nicked has he loves white chocolate. But I did get two pieces! And let me tell you, they were gorgeous!! I will be looking out for these!

These are priced at £1.59

Kitkat Senses Mix

Everyone wanted to try these out. So I shared them out between the 5 of us. This pack as around 20 chocolates, and in three different flavours – Hazelnut, Salted Caramel and Double Chocolate. They were all equal nice! I bit pricey for this one one though, would only buy them on offer.

Priced at £3.99 for a box

My overall rating

We Made Lemonade

This was a lovely and refreshing lemonade drink. It has quite a strong flavour but made without all the artificial nonsense.

Priced at £1.50

My overall rating

The Good Cider

I am a big fruity cider fan and these were really nice. They come in two flavour of Strawberry and Dry Apple. The Strawberry is very sweet, but I love sweet thing, but this one maybe a bit too sweet for a lot of people. The dry Apple was really nice too. I loved both of these.

My overall rating

Say Aloe Reduced Sugar

I have had drink made out of Aloe before and I was pleasantly surprised, so was looking forward to trying this one as it was Strawberry flavour. I wasn’t let down, it was gorgeous!! It is really refreshing and hits the spot, It taste very strawberry. But don’t be put of of the aloe pieces floating around, they are actually quite nice. And with  just 90 calories and 150% of vitamin C.

This is priced at £1.49

My overall rating

Brioche Pasquier PITCH

I have never tried a product from this brand that I didn’t like, and these were just the same. One has chocolate chips and the other has a chocolate centre. Both where really nice, but the chips won with the kids. These are nice warmed up in the microwave for a couple of seconds.

Priced at £1.39 for a pack of 4

My overall rating

So they you go for another month. My favourites in this box where ciders, both packs of Kitkats, the Aloe drink and the Pitch’s.

Have you tried any of these? What would you most like to try out?
