We received February’s Degustabox just in time for the half term holidays. We had a family movie night and watch a few films, including the new Paddington 2, and ate loads of goodies. And this month’s Degustabox was perfect for our movie night as it contained a lot of snack items.

See my video of me open the box and finding out what’s inside.

And here everything is altogether.

My Thoughts

Haribos Fruitilicious swetts

Haribos Frruitilicious

My kids were really excited to see these Haribos in the box and wanted to try these out first. All 3 of my kids and my husband loved these. They all said they tasted really nice and very fruity. They all agreed that these where their favourite pack of Haribos ever!

The Protein Ball Co. - Cherry & Almond flavour

The Protein Ball Co.

These little packs of 6 protein balls are delicious. They are Cherry & Almond flavour and taste just like a yummy Cherry Bakewell. I have seen these over on twitter a lot and always wanted to try them. I am so glad I finally got the chance to has they are yummy. A perfect on-the-go snack.

Primrose's Kitchen - Raw Beetroot & Ginger Muesli

Primrose’s Kitchen – Raw Beetroot & Ginger Muesli

These looked very posh and different. The cereal looks quite pink and also turns tour milk pink because of the beetroot. I was a bit unsure about these at first, as I have had raw beetroot before and didn’t like it, although I do love pickled beetroot. On the first mouth full I could taste the beetroot straight away and I was slightly surprised how nice it tasted. But then after a few chews the ginger hit me. And it didn’t just hit me, it slapped me in the face!! It was so strong, and too overpowering. All I could taste was the ginger and nothing else. It actually was that strong it kind of hurt my throat. I had two spoonfuls altogether, then the rest went in the bin. These would be great if you’re a big fan of ginger though.

Kit Kat Chunky - New York Cheese Cake

Kit Kat Chunky – New York Cheese Cake

I am a big fan of Kit Kats so I made sure that I grabbed this before anyone else did. I love all the Kit Kat Chunky flavours and I really liked this one too, although it wasn’t my favourite. But I could still eat this flavoured one all day.

Dr . Karg's Organic Emmental Cheese & Pumpkin Seed Crispbread

Dr . Karg’s Organic Emmental Cheese & Pumpkin Seed Crispbread

I was a bit put of these at first as I am not a big fan of pumpkin seeds. And it didn’t really help when I first bit in to one and it was hard that I thought that I had broken my tooth. But I gave them another try and they are really nice. There is just something about these, that when you finish one, you want to grab another. I really enjoyed these and will be buying these again.

Indie Bay Snacks - Pretzel bites

Indie Bay Snacks – Pretzel Bites

There are two flavours of these and I got the Sunflower ones. I had high hopes for these as I am a big pretzel lover. But after trying a few I was slightly disappointed. They tasted a bit burnt, which wasn’t very nice. And they had less salt on, so didn’t taste like normal pretzels. But it was the burnt tasted that really put me off. If that wasn’t there they would be really nice. But I would like to give the other flavour a try.

Tootsie Roll Midgees

Tootsie Roll Midgees

I have heard of Tootsie Rolls before and I know that they are an American candy but have never seen or tasted any. These are Midgees, so I am not too sure how they differ from the originals. They have a treacle flavour too them. They are nice but not one of my favourite sweets. But saying that I keep eating them.

True Nopal Cactus Water

True Nopal Cactus Water

I am not a fan of flavoured water, like coconut water, so I knew I wouldn’t really like this eaither. I was was right, I didn’t. But my youngest is a big fan of coconut water so I thought he would love this too. But he didn’t either. In fact none of us in my family liked this at all and a bit expensive too. Think I will just be sticking to my tap water.

Emily Fruit Crisp - Crunchy Fig Banana

Emily Fruit Crisp – Crunchy Fig Banana

If you watch my video of me you will see me saying that these are fig and banana flavour. But after I realised that they aren’t. They are just banana, and must be a variety just called fig banana. Anyway, these are gorgeous!!! I really enjoyed these. My youngest loved them, but other 2 not that fussed. I could eat a massive bag of these!

  1. I love reading Degustabox reviews; thanks for sharing! I’d forgotten how much I like those crispbreads. I might have to pick some up next time I go to the supermarket.

  2. A great variety of products, my children would love to try the haribo fruitilicous, my fiance would try the protein balls, I’d enjoy the kit kat chunky new York cheesecake xXx

  3. I love these boxes as they are always full up of things you would never normally try. Have to agree with you about the cactus water. Can’t even stand cactus alcohol ( a holiday dare)
