Playmobil Advent Calendar Jewel Thief 2017

I love all the different kinds of advent calendars you can get nowadays but I think the best ones for kids are definitely the Playmobil advent calendars. Each year they bring a few different new ones out, so there is always something different to choice from. And they don’t just do Christmas themed ones. This year they have got ones that include Royal Ice Skating Trip and Pirate Treasure island. The one we received is the Jewel Thief Police Operation.

Both Caitlin and Aaron was excited to receive this set, especially Aaron as he just loves anything to do with police and bad guys. We kept calling the bad guy in this set the ‘bank robber’ because of the safe, but it is actually a jewellery store that he has broken into.

Here’s the video of Caitlin and Aaron taking it in turns to open each window and finding out what we got inside.

The set comes with a cardboard backdrop scene of a jewellery shop. And below is a photo of everything that the set comes with and then another photo of it all set up and finished.

The best part of this set is the safe. When you first put the safe door on you can set a secret code to open it. We set ours to number 25, for Christmas day. And the safe will only open when the combination is set right. Which the kids thought was really cool.

Aaron love the robber, police women, police bike and the money the most and Caitlin liked all the pretty jewels and money in the briefcase.

I really think these Playmobil advent calendars are really worth the money at just £19.99 each, as you can also play with them all the year through.

Here are some more close up photos of all the bits.
