My daughter Caitlin has a few Lottie dolls already and she loves them, so she was pretty excited when she was asked if she would like to choose two more Lottie dolls to review.

She picked Snow Queen and Birthday Girl Sophia, along with the blue velvet outfit.

About Lottie

“Our vision, when we first created Lottie, was to develop a range of dolls that would empower children to be them-selves, to be imaginative and adventurous and – most of all – to have fun. We believe that childhood should be an inclusive place where every child belongs regardless of gender, ethnicity or ability. And we’ve made it our mission to do our bit – no matter how small – to protect childhood.”

My favourite thing about Lottie dolls are that they are different to other dolls on the market. Other dolls have big boobs, tiny waists and are covered in make up. Not Lottie dolls though. They have bodies based on the proportions of a nine-year old child. No boobs or heels in sight.

Lottie dolls inspire girls to be who they want to be, whether it be an astronaut, Superhero or a fossil hunter.

Our review

The two dolls Caitlin chose are both quite girly ones. Caitlin is very girly but at the same time, she also likes climbing trees, making dens and getting dirty.

Snow Queen Lottie doll comes wearing a blue and white gown with a fluffy wrap, blue flat shoes, evening back, a silver sparkly mask and tiara.

Birthday Girl Sophia is actually Lottie’s younger sister. She comes wearing a cupcake t-shirt, leggings, silver tutu, silver trainers, pink sparkly bag and some mini cards.

Caitlin said she chose these two has they both have blonde hair and blue eyes like her, and also the other Lottie dolls she had haven’t got blonde hair.

Caitlin loves these dolls and she played with them all day in the garden. She also got all her other Lottie’s dolls out later that day and made them have a little party.

  4. I think the Snow Queen Lottie doll is adorable and i have not bourght any for my grandaughter before but am sure this will be on her Christmas wish list

  5. I’d like either but the Birthday Girl one would appeal to my daughter. I have bought a Lottie Doll for my daughter’s Christmas present (I’m very organised!) after seeing them advertised on all the blogs lately 🙂

  6. I would love to win Birthday Girl Sophia for my niece. I don’t think she has any Lottie dolls at the moment as she lives in Australia. I don’t know if they are available there although it would be great if they were.

  7. would love the birthday girl Lottie for my daughter Belle, she doesn’t own a Lottie doll as of yet but she would just love them

  8. Both are lovely, but I think the Snow Queen would be the most Christmassy to put by for my partner’s little niece. I don’t own any Lottie dolls (I think I’m probably a bit too big for them now ….. probably ….)

  9. My girls would love the Snow Queen – definitely a bit different.
We haven’t any of these gorgeous dolls yet but I shall be checking them out. Brilliant that there are different designs to suit different children.

  10. My great-niece Phoenix has just put the Snow Queen on her letter to Santa lol. 🙂 We don’t have any Lottie dolls at the moment but can see a large collection starting soon.

  11. I would love the birthday girl although both look amazing. The birthday girl doll is something a bit different skills I think my daughter would love her. She doesn’t own any Lottie dolls yet but they definitely need to become part of her doll collection.
