My towels that I have are really old and starting to go a bit thread bare. I was thinking about buying some new ones very soon. And then it was like the Towel Shop read my mind as the asked me if I would like to review some of their Towels – perfect timing! They sent me some of their Luxury Bamboo Bath Sheets and Hand Towels.

These Luxury Bamboo towels are made with 50% bamboo and 50% cotton and are 600 GSM. These come in 6 different neutral colours. I chose the white ones for myself as currently my bathroom is blue and white. Because of the bamboo in them they are naturally anti-fungal and odour free. Bamboo is also one of the most eco-friendly and sustainable sources of fibre in the world.

I am really loving my new towels. They are so soft and luxurious. I feel like I’m in a spa when I get out of the bath and wrap one of these high-quality ultra soft towels around me. These are so much better than my old towels and I am so glad these were sent out to me. Now that I have tried bamboo towels, I don’t think I would ever buy regular cotton ones. These just feel so posh and cosy.

Even after washing on a hot wash at 90 degrees, these towels come out great and dry really quickly.

Oh, did I mention that they lovely people from The Towel Shop also sent me out one of their Luxury Egyptian Hooded Terry Towelling Dressing Gowns? This is great to sleep on straight after getting out of the bath. Perfect for when the postman knocks on my front door when I am having a relaxing bath, which he always seems to do. I can just grab it of the back of my bathroom door, much more modest than going to the front door in just my towel.

  1. Candles bubbles and a book and ban everyone from entering the bathroom
Theory is good but in practice it rarely happens

  2. A lovely fragrant bath bomb in deep, warm water, a good book, a mug of coffee and the door locked means my time, my happy time.

  3. They look very fluffy and cosy, I need new towels too, I have an airing cupboard full of kids towels and only a few for my partner and I xxx

  4. To be honest, I love putting oats in my bath! Keeps my skin really soft and moisturised, and as long as I have a good book and the bath is hot, I am in heaven! x Thanks for the giveaway, would be lovely to have some new towels! x

  5. I love to relax with bubble bath preferably lavender, and I find it more relaxing to soak in the tub at dusk no lights on and listening to music.

  6. Never used bamboo and would love to try ..most towels don’t stay fluffy for long…..
These look like they may ..the only way I could truly say is time win and further comments on this ….
Seriously though …a lovely giveaway and much needed in my household …of cardboard towels. …

  7. There must must many many things that could be made from Bamboo as it is the fastest growing plant in the world and and so sustainable . It is the future of a relaible renewable energy source

  8. I love Radox Bubble Bath & I’d love some candles & soft music but that just doesn’t get to happen in our house!

  9. On warm summer evenings there’s nothing like a cool shower drying off in a fluffy towle for getting a good nights sleep

  10. I am unable to bath now due to bad knees. But I do love my shower with some lovely foamy scented shower gels.

  11. just a nice hot bubble bath with no kids would be ideal! having 6 there is always someone ‘needing’ me for something

  12. Nothing like getting out of a bubbly bath and wrapping yourself in a massive doft towel. I love the fact these dry quickly, we have a quick towel turnover in this house.

  13. I don’t like having a bath now. We only got a shower two years ago and love it after fifty-odd years of taking a bath. Bamboo towels sound very luxurious.

    • Oops forgot to say what I love with a bath. We no longer have a bath. We have a walk in shower however I love candles on with a shower as we do have a seat in with the shower

  14. Candles, love songs playing, bubbles and some cherry scented oil burning, a magazine, and no kids banging on the bathroom door 🙂 Oh and a large glass of wine (plastic glass of course lol)

  15. I never bath anymore because it makes me too sleepy and super relaxed, which is wonderful at the time, but not when it is time to get out again. After a bath I just want to slip into bed and I can never do so, which makes me grumpy! So it is a lovely hot shower for me with some aromatherapy type shower gel or mousse to get the senses going but keep me awake at the same time.

  16. I have a lot of allergies so my perfect bath is just plain water with perhaps some coconut oil melted in. A good book and a large glass of wine, oh and the lock on so none of the kids or the husband can interupt

  17. Bubbles , lights off and enough hot water in the tank to keep topping up the bath . There is nothing more relaxing than lying in a tepid bath and feeling the warm water from a top up gently moving up through the bath , you can feel your muscles un-tense as it does .

  18. A perfect bath would be at least 6 feet long so I could lay out flat in it – with a relaxing aroma and something to keep the temperature constant for at least 2 hours.

  19. I would love a separate toilet to the bathroom so when Im in there Im not subjected to the classic ‘Are you finished yet?’ or just the sound of urine hitting the toilet water…and no it does not put me in mind of waterfalls etc. Away from that some lovely bubbles would be nice!!!

  20. My ideal bath-time would be lots of scented bubbles and the room lit only by candles, so I could lie-back on a bath pillow, close my eyes and soak my worries away!

  21. Sundays are my 2 hour long relax and unwind bath nights! Plenty of bubbles, a bath bomb or bath salts, some candles, my tab and I am in heaven for those 2 hours! 🙂

  22. Well my idea of a blissful bath would be hot water, bath salts , a glass of wine, candles , music playing softly and NO children .I would happily settle for a hot bath all by myself to be honest

  23. Bubbles, a good book and a glass of wine. Preferably without someone banging on the door. Even worse is the fact that we have a separate loo and bathroom so there’s no need to disturb anyone while they are in the bath lol.
