June’s Review Round Up

It’s been a while since my last review round-up post so this month I have quite a lot of things to share with you. Most of the items have been really great and I would highly recommend but some not too much. So without further ado, let’s get on with the items.

June's Review Round Up

Fuel 10K

Fuel 10K are high protein pouches made with quark. They come in 4 delicious flavours – Raspberry & Blueberry, Strawberry & Banana, Vanilla Bean & Honey and Mango & Passionfruit. Every single one of these were delicious. This was the first time I had tried quark and I really liked it. These are priced at £1.49 each and are great for grabbing on the go.

Crabtree & Evelyn Hand Cream in Rosewater

Ever since I went to a Crabtree & Evelyn event for bloggers, I have been a big fan. I tried out some of their hand cream and it was brilliant, it is now my first choice of hand cream. This Rosewater hand cream one is so lovely, with a nice fresh fragrance. The 50g one is priced at £10 and the 100g is £18.

Vosene Kids Lice Repellent

I normally buy Vosene Kids shampoo for my kids and I am really loving this lice repellent version. It smells of tea tree and limes and it really does work. The lice really hate the smell and try to get away. It also leaves my kid’s hair soft and shiny.

The Jojoba Company Hydrating Day Cream

This is a lightweight hydrating day cream with a SPF 15 which protects against UVA and UVB rays. This absorbs really easy without clogging your pores and it has a lovely fresh light smell. It’s priced at £26.99, a bit pricey for me, but is a great cream

Candy Crush Lip Balms

I am always using lip balms, they are my must have beauty item and I have loads. These Candy Crush Lip Balms are based on the game and come in 4 different flavours – Peppermint Palace, Lemonade Lake, Bubblegum Bridge and Chocolate Mountains. Each one really smells lovely. They are also suitable for children 6+ some my kids have nicked some off me. They are priced at £1.50 and are available to buy from Primark.

Fix ‘Em Plasters

These Fix ‘Em Plasters come in a cute little tin and contain 24 plasters with emoji icons on. My kids really love these and pretend to fall over just so they can have one. These are priced at £2.99 and are available from Superdrug.

Logitech 2017 Doodle Collection Wireless Mouse

This mouse from Logitech was really easy to set up and easy to use. My eldest son loves this and think the design is really cool. There are 8 different designs to choose from and we got the ‘Sneakerhead’ design. These work up to 10 Meters and come with 1 AA battery that will last up to 12 months. These doodle mice are priced at £19.99 and come with a sheet of 15 stickers.

Glenilen Farm Natural Live Yoghurt and Fruit

These natural live yoghurts have a delicious layer of fruit at the bottom. The come in tubs of 500ml, packs of 4 x 125g and small 160g in glass jars. They come in 9 yummy flavours. I received the Raspberry, Mango & Passionfruit and Blueberry flavours to try out. All three flavours were absolutely delicious and get a big thumbs up from both me and my husband. The kids didn’t like them, but that just meant more for me, which I was happy about. I will be buying more of these and can’t wait to try out the other flavours.

Nature’s Finest Mango Slices

This big tub of mango slices from Nature’s Finest is 7oog and it as a retail price of around £2.25. I don’t often eat mango because I hate peeling and chopping them but these make it so simple. These are really gorgeous too, so juicy and delicious. I will definitely be buying more of these.

Scar Gel

This Scar Gel is from Superdrug and is priced at £14.99 for a 19g tube. I have been using these for a few weeks and I haven’t really noticed much difference in my stretch marks on my hips. The only thing it has done is make my skin a bit softer. I was a little bit disappointed when I first saw this product as the tube only seems to be a third full. Wouldn’t buy this again and priced far to high.

Illumibowl is a motion activated toilet night-light. You simple place over the brim of the toilet seat and when someone walks into the bathroom when it is dark, it automatically lights up the inside of the toilet, making it easy to see where to go. This changes through 8 different or you can set it to stay just on one colour. I really love this idea, but has I like to but the toilet seat down you can’t really notice it until you have opened the lid. But because it is dark in my bathroom, I normally turn the light on first, so the illumibowl doesn’t light up, as it only comes on in the dark. Great idea but would prefer a nightlight that lights the whole bathroom up.

Minecraft Creeper Backpack

This Minecraft backpack is great!! It’s a really good size with loads of pockets and great for hiding all your bits and pieces. My youngest son is currently using this as his school bag and it fits and stores everything in really nicely. The straps fit perfectly and doesn’t irritate my son around his neck and shoulder like some other bags do. Really love the design and colour too. This is the best bag my son has had. This is priced at £24.99 and available to buy from Noisy Sauce.

FuelBaby Bottle

This Fuelbaby Bottle is great for making freshly made baby milk on the go. You simply put the powdered milk in the bottom half and hot water in the top half. And when you are ready to feed your baby, you press the button on the bottom of the bottle that release the power in to the water. Just shake and it’s ready. The Fuelbaby bottle comes in 3 different colours and is priced at £15.65.

Coconut Chilli Root Vegetable

This Gourmet food pot from Coconut Chilli comes in 4 different flavours. I tried the Root vegetable, mooli and lentil sambhar with a hint of chilli. To make it just goes in the microwave for a few minutes. The flavour was really nice and moreish. I will be on the look out for these again.

Arckit Go Plus

Arckit is a click together house modelling kit which it a bit like Lego for adults. It comes with all the pieces need to make your little model house including papers for the walls. As there are no proper instructions with this, just a few images, I found this very hard to put together and found that sometimes the pieces would come back out, which was very frustrating and meaning I had to but some of it again. With no instructions I found that after building most of it and got near the end that I had used a few wrong pieces in the wrong places. And to correct this I would basically have to start again. So I just gave up. Too frustrating for me. And this is priced at approx. £52 which in my eyes is way too much.

Sheaffer Compact Ion Pen

This little pen is just 3 inch’s and comes with a keyring attachment. To use simply pull from the keyring and twist. This pen comes in 6 different colours and is priced at £12.99. It’s really handy and great for carrying around with you.
