Me and the kids are loving being a Playmobil Playologist. We get to try out and play with all the different ranges and this time we got to try out The Pony Farm from the Country range. This set was really fun to play with and very easy to set up and I am really loving all the little extras included in the set too.

The Pony Farm

The contains a stable and fencing around one side. It comes with one lady figure and two children. There are 3 different coloured horses each with their own reins. There is a bird nest which can be placed inside the stable on the outside and I love the little extras included like the 3 birds, two cats and two mice.

There is a little pond for the outside, bucket for drinking water, hay and vegetables for the horses to eat, a box of brushes to comb the horses and there is even a lump of horse poo to clean up. This was Caitlin (7) and Aaron (6) favourite part of the whole set! I personally like the small details like the locks on the gates and the metal rings to tie the horses up outside.

All three horses also have small middle to enable the Playmobil figures to be able to sit on the horses and ride them and the great thing about this set is that it is also extendable, so you can buy more stables to add-on, which I really love.

Here are some more photos of the set:

This set is priced at £39.99 with other items in the Country range starting from just £4.75.

What do you like most about the Pony Farm set?

I received the above set as part of being a Playmobil Playologist. All opinions are mine

  1. This looks like such a wonderful set for playing and learning. The attention to all of the small details is fantastic and really adds such value, enabling the children to act out so many scenarios which really helps with imaginary play.

  2. My kids (Ok, me too!) absolutely love Playmobil and I love the fact Playmobil now still looks like the Playmobil of the 80s. You can mix and match lots of sets and create tons of stories. It’s so good for role play and just general fun. It’s a fab set too with all the animals!

  3. Our eldest 2 daughters were never really into Playmobil but our youngest absolutely loves it. Its great to see their imagination grow with these sets. I love the quality of them too & how easy they are to clear away.

  4. Oh my gosh I used to love Playmobil when I was younger! Looks like your little one seems to like the construction side of it. Engineer in the making maybe? haha!

  5. What a fantastic set! My friends kids are really into horses, she’s spending a fortune on private lessons for them but I’m sure she could spare a few extra quid for one of these sets. Perfect for young horse lovers! xxx
