I hope you all had a lovely Easter. We did, the kids got loads of yummy Easter eggs and treats and another yummy Easter treat was this month Degustabox. March’s Degustabox was actually the Easter box. I think this box may be my favourite so far but the only disappointment was no Easter themed treats. Although it did contain chocolate, crisps and jelly beans.

Here’s me looking a bit worse for wear as I was poorly, unboxing March’s Degustabox :

And here’s what I though of each item :

Piper Crisp Co.

I love Piper crisp and I had never tried them until I received them in one of these Degustaboxes a while ago now. This time I got to try out the Cider vinegar & Sea Salt flavour. There were really nice and had a slightly sweet vinegar taste rather than bitter. These were very moreish and I ate the whole bag! These are priced at £2.00

My overall rating

Naturelly Jelly Juice

These Naturelly Jelly juice comes in 3 delicious flavours, we received the Apple & Blackcurrant one to try out. These are suitable for children aged 12 months and over but great for older kids and even adults too. They have 100% recommended daily intake of vitamin C and with no added sugars or sweeteners just the natural sugars found in the fruit. Each one is priced at £1.19 and a great snack or dessert. I little bit pricey for me but would buy these when they are on offer as they do taste rather nice.

Whitworths Full of Super Cacao Raw Bars

This little bar of goodness was so yummy. It contains almonds, flakes of coconut, chai seeds, golden flax seeds, quinoa and acai. They are gluten free and suitable for vegetarians. I really enjoyed this and would definitely buy again. This is priced at £1.50 a bar.

Maldon Smoked Sea Salt Flakes

I often use Maldon sea salt but this is the first time I have ever tried a smoked sea salt. The flakes of salt are smoked over oak to give it a really nice flavour. It actually tastes to me like bacon flavoured crisps, the once that are suitable for vegetarians. It has quite a strong flavour so a little goes a very long way. I like this, but think I prefer plain sea salt to the smoked kind. This is £1.50 a box.

My overall rating

Heinz [Seriously] Good Sauces

These new sauces from Heinz come in four different flavours, we received the Creamy Tomato and Garlic Sauce. This sauce had quite a strong flavour and reminded me a bit of Thousand Island dip but with added garlic. It’s recommend that this goes well with chicken dishes. Its priced at £1.99, which I think is a bit pricey for just a 270g jar.

£onepounders Chocolate Eclairs

Now I didn’t get a look in with these as my husband ate them all and didn’t even save me one. But according to him these are the nicest chocolate eclairs he as ever tried. So I will just have to take his word for it. these are priced at £1.00

My overall rating

Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo

These Dairy Milk Oreo bars come in mint and peanut butter flavour. Me, my husband and kids all tried a piece each. I was the only one that liked the peanut butter flavour and 4 out of 5 of us liked the mint one. I would buy both again for myself, but hubby and kids both prefered the plain Dairy milk better. These are £1.49 a bar.

My overall rating

The Jelly Bean Factory

These are the best Jelly Beans in the world!! the box contains 36 different flavours, with my favourite being the caramel popcorn and butterscotch ones. I love these so much as there isn’t many sweet that are suitable for vegetarians and these are just so yummy. These are priced at £1.49 for a 75g box. And the great thing is these are also a Fairtrade item.

Gusto Organic Lemon Energy

I was really looking forward to trying this drink as the description sounded gorgeous – an energising blend of Sicilian lemons, Amazon guarana and Siberian ginseng. But was a bit disappointed as it wasn’t as sweet as I thought it would be, instead of being juicy and refreshing it tasted rather bitter to me. felt a bit let down with this one. Priced at £1.50.

My overall rating

Rebel Kitchen Chocolate Mylk

This product surprised me as I didn’t think I would like it after I saw that the main ingredient was coconut milk, which I am not of fan of when in a drink only when added to a nice korma. But it was really delicious and tasted just like a chocolate milkshake. priced at £1.89.

My overall rating

Weetabix on the go

These are breakfast on the go, each one as the same energy, fibre and protein as two weetabix biscuits and semi-skimmed milk, but in a drink. I had the vanilla one and it was really nice, but I wouldn’t say it filled me up as two weetabix would. The protein one isn’t suitable for veggies so my husband had this one. The vanilla one is priced at £1.39 and the protein one is £1.99. Nice, but rather stick to a proper breakfast

My overall rating

Westons Cider

I have never heard of Westons cider until I got this box. I like sweet cider and fruit ciders but didn’t like these as they are dry ciders and not sweet enough at all for me. Priced at £1.99 each.

My overall rating

And that was the Easter Box. Which item did you like the most? Mine was definitely the Jelly beans, I could eat those all day long.

If you would like to try your very own degustabox, you can get your first one for just £5.99 – saving you £7.00. And if you find that you don’t want to continue receiving boxes after you have received your first one that is fine. There is no commitment, just cancel whenever you like.
