Now if you read my blog regular you will know that I love my chocolate and that my favourite brand is Hotel Chocolat. Well, I was so happy when the contacted me and asked if I would like to try out their Happy Mother’s Day Sleekster Box. I couldn’t wait to open the box and get trying them out. I am just glad that there were two of most of them as my husband and kids nicked a few. best of all is I did get to try each flavour and I must say that I think this is my favourite box yet. This one contained my favourite Hotel Chocolat too – Carrot Cake. It is just so nice and actually really tastes like your eating carrot cake. But there were so close second favourites. I also really liked the Raspberry Smoothie and billionaire’s Shortbread.
There is a total of 27 chocolates and they are :
- Raspberry Smoothie
- Carrot Cake
- Billionaire’s Shortbread
- Supermilk Caesar
- Fudge Sundae
- Cherry Deluxe
- Caramel Cheesecake
- The Brownie
- Florentine Isabelle
- Peanut Butter
- Eton Mess
- Dizzy Praline
- Going Nuts
- Mousse au Chocolat
Now with Mother’s Day just around the corner, I thought I would also share my #MumMoments. It can be really hard being a mum, with 3 kids all wanting your attention at the same time. I get sick of all the bickering and fighting between each other. Fed up of my house being a mess just 5 minutes after I have tidied it up. I hate it when the kids don’t listen to me or don’t do as their told. I hate it when I get a phone call from school saying that my youngest as hit someone or tried to runaway. I’m fed up of them being so ungrateful all the time and thinking they have it hard because they don’t get £10 pocket money every week like their friends. Sometimes, I wish I wasn’t a mum at all. I wish I lived completely alone with no listening to their whinging and whining.
But then it’s the little things that they do. Like my daughter came up to me and said she loved me so much while I was just sitting in the bath. My youngest came into the living room while I was watching TV and gave me a card he made that said ‘I love you mum’. My oldest, who doesn’t like to be seen with me when his friends are around, will come a watch a movie with me and want me to cuddle him. It’s the little things like this that make me feel like a mum and feel special. And even with all the arguing I wouldn’t change it for the world.
Let me know in the comments your #MumMoments, moments that really make you feel like a mum.
