Well, it only seems 5 minutes since it was Christmas and I was sharing with you December’s Degustabox. Just 2 weeks later and today I will be sharing with you what I got in January’s Degustabox. I really look forward to receiving my monthly box and it’s so exciting opening it up and finding what new products I have to try out. See my video below opening my box.

And here everything is :

In January’s Box

These aren’t the normal version of Fruittellas, these ones have 30% less sugar, which is always good. These were a delicious strawberry flavour, I couldn’t have one as the are not suitable for vegetarians but the kids loved them. They are priced at £1.25 a bag

My overall rating

The Chia Co

Chia seeds have been everywhere over the last year and they are really great for us. I like to add some to a strawberry and banana smoothie, or add some to my morning porridge. These are 66p each

My overall rating

Quinola Mothergrain

I really love Quinoa so was happy to try this out. This is quinoa mixed with split peas. I really enjoyed this, and it would go great in a salad. Bit pricey for my liking, so I wouldn’t buy it, but the price is the only reason. It’s priced at £2.49 a pack.

My overall rating

Finn Crisp – Snacks

These are little triangles of wholegrain rye with seed and sea salt added. I wasn’t expecting to like these as they smelt like hamster food, but the sea salt really comes through and gives them a lovely flavour. Would buy these again if I saw them on offer. Priced at £1.89

My overall rating

Little’s’ Coconut Infused Coffee

I liked the sound of this as I love trying out flavoured coffees and I thought the packaging was really great. But this was too overly coco-nutty for me and wasn’t a big fan. If the flavour of the coconut was only slight, would have been better, but it took away the taste of the actual coffee.

My overall rating

Natvia Sweetener

I actually already use this sweetener and I love that it is made from Stevia and not artificial stuff. I haven’t tried baking or anything like that with it, I just add it to my cup of tea. I normally have two sugars, but when using Natvia, I just need the one teaspoon. This is priced at £4.99

My overall rating

Chosen Hibiscus Drink

This drink is made with the hibiscus flower with a touch of fiery ginger. I wasn’t sure if I would like this, but I did. I loved the ginger in it.

My overall rating

Crabbies Scottish Raspberry

Now this was delicious! I am a big fan of Crabbies, but this is the first time I have tried this. It is ginger beer with raspberries and tastes divine!! It’s priced at £1.39 and I will be buying more of this very soon.

My overall rating

Aspire Drinks

I have tried these out before and I didn’t like them, so I gave these ones to my husband. He liked the mango & lemonade, but wasn’t too over keen on the cranberry flavoured one. These are priced at £1.45 each

My overall rating

Protein Boost

These come in two flavours Chocolate or Strawberry. I received the strawberry one, but it wasn’t suitable for vegetarians because of the colouring added. So my daughter Caitlin tried this out. She said it tasted just like a yummy milkshake. These are high in protein with 20g in a bottle. Priced at £1.29 each

My overall rating

Yushoi Rice Sticks

I have tried these before in a previous Degustabox but in a different flavour. This flavour was Coconut & Chilli and they were rally nice. I ate the whole bag to myself. I will be looking out for these again, I really like them. Priced at £1.79.

My overall rating

Popchips Ridges

I am a big fan of Popchips and this time we tried out their Ridges in Smokey Bacon flavour. Now, even though these are bacon flavoured, they are suitable for vegetarians and I am so glad as these were delicious. I must say, I didn’t get to eat many and my husband and eldest son nabbed these. These are priced at £1.99

My overall rating

Also in the box was a voucher for a tub of The Collective gourmet yoghurt. I must admit, these look so nice, but I can’t tell you what they taste like as I haven’t had the chance to go and use my voucher yet. But I bet these are so good.

So, there you go. January’s box all done and dusted. My favourite items where the Yushoi rice snacks and the Crabbies Raspberry Ginger Beer. Let me know in the comments below if you have tried any of these products before.

You can also get a whopping £7.00 of your next Degustabox. So it will only cost you £5.99! just quote code 9U02B at checkout.

  1. There was a really good range of products in January’s box. The Hibiscus drink with ginger sounds interesting, I wouldn’t mind trying that. I love chia seeds, I add them to so many things as they are so very good for our health x

  2. I didnt even know this existed lol. It sounds right up my street, i really need to sign up and add to my long list of subsciption boxes 🙂 The Gourmet yogurts are amazing, the fudge one is extra nice. x

  3. I keep seeing boxes around for various things, this one looks like you get quite a lot in it. I love snapea rice sticks too. I’ve seen the gourmet yoghurt before but haven’t tried any yet, it looks so good. #TriedTested

  4. I’d considered resubscribing to Degustabox after seeing the Christmas box, but I’m kind of glad I didn’t now as there’s quite a lot of stuff in this one that we wouldn’t have eaten. Will look out for your February unboxing and make a decision from there I think 🙂

  5. The strawberry flavor in this candy was very good. I’m not a big fan of strawberry candy in general because the flavor usually seems fake and it’s a very tough flavor to replicate. I did like this version of a strawberry candy though. I thought it was one of the closest flavors to real strawberry that I’ve had.

  6. Lucky you getting to try out new products. Degustabox seems a good idea. Seems to be snacks in January’s box. Like the sound of the Crabbies Rasberry Ginger Beer ( non- alcoholic, I presume). Good layout for your review/s, as information clearly set out, enjoyed reading through it.

  7. Another lovely variety, I love fruit tellas I wouldn’t mind trying the protein shake either, I’m always skipping meals for myself so they would be perfect xxx
