Wilf Kids Books

Last November I received a Wilf Kids book subscription box for my youngest, Aaron (6). WILF stands for What I’m Looking For and was set up by Callum and Amelia to bring kids books they will love to read. The price of a 1 month subscription is ยฃ19.95, with discount if you sign up to a 3 month or 6 month subscription. When you first sign up you will be asked a few details about your child and their interests. You can choose which types of books you would like to receive, the choices are : Picture books, moral books, rhyming books, fairy tales, concept, issue or mixed. Currently the books available are suitable for children aged 2-9 years old. And also if you have more than 1 child, you can sign up for extra boxes and you will receive a 15% discount.

For Aaron’s first box he received 4 fab books.

  • Hold That Thought Milton by Linda Ravin Lodding and Ross Collins
  • Rhinos Don’t Eat Pancakes by Anna Kemp
  • But Excuse Me That is My Book by Lauren Child
  • Mog in the Dark by Judith Kerr

I really loved the selection we got, not heard of the first two authors. Lauren Child is one of our favourites and we have some other books by her and I remember reading a lot of Judith Kerr when I was younger, so Mog brought back a few memories.

The books are in excellent condition. And at least one of these books was previously owned by another WILF subscriber who has decided to share it with other. I know this as it at a little sticker on the inside page letting me know. That is one of the great things I like about this book subscription service. The box comes with a return mailing bag, so if you don’t like a book or already own it, you can send it back, and you will receive an extra book in your next parcel.

If you would like to try out WILF books for yourself pop on over and buy a subscription. You can cancel at anytime!

  14. It would be for our children. The subscription seems to have a wide selection of books. The children do enjoy books :- books being read to them, learning to read and self reading. It takes time to build up skills. Luckily our children enjoy sharing and assisting one another when it comes to books and reading. No so, when it comes to toys, maybe it is the age difference etc at that point. As there seems to be fads, fashions etc when it comes to toys, clothing etc.

  17. I would love to win this for my daughter as we always read bedtime stories, her dad loves reading to her as he was always working nights when our son was little so rarely had the chance with him.
