Easter Treats from Hotel Chocolat

I was first introduced to Hotel Chocolat last year when I was asked to review one of their Sleekster boxes. I fell in love with them, they were the best chocolates I have ever tasted, no lie. I even got my mum to buy me some of their chocolates for Christmas, so when Hotel Chocolat asked again if I would like to try out something from their Easter range, I jumped at the chance. I choose the Quail Egglets and  the Caramel City Bunnies. I was so excited when they arrived and couldn’t wait to try them, but I made myself wait until later that day and shared them with my husband after the kids went to bed.

The quail eggs come in a little plastic egg box, which I think is so cute. They are priced at £10 and you get 12 eggs in 6 different flavours. The flavours are :

  • Raspberry Supermilk
  • Mousse au Chocolat
  • Peanut Butter Praline
  • Strawberries & Cream
  • Hazelnut Praline
  • Salted Caramel

These were just completely divine! I cannot even describe how nice these are, they truly are my favourite chocolates ever! Each one was so rich and creamy and just melt in your mouth.  I loved all the flavours and it is really hard to say with is my overall favourite. Me and my husband had a little bit of a debate about this and we both agreed with think the Raspberry Supermilk wins, but only just.

The City Bunnies come in a pack of 6 and are priced at £3.85. They are filled with molten caramel that just so silky and smooth.  Besides being the cutest little bunnies around they are a little piece of heaven. These are great for a luxury treat this Easter.

I love both of these but the Quail Egglets were my favourite. They will be on my Easter wish list, just got to drop a few hints and hope someone will buy me some more.

Hotel Chocolat have a wide range of Easter treats from their Easter Egg Sandwiches to their Extra large Ostrich eggs which also contain chocolate inside. There is something for everyone including nut=free range and vegan range.  Pop over there and let me know what you fancy.
