Are you all set for Valentines Day? Well if you’re not I have a few great last-minute ideas you can do. Me and my husband don’t celebrate Valentines Day has my husband works in a restaurant and Valentines Day is their busiest day of the whole year, so he always has to work. So, I spend it at home by myself, wrapped up in a cosy blanket on the sofa watching love films and eating my way through no end of boxes of chocolate. I do love all the things that are in the shops at the minute and I have taken some inspiration and made a few Valentine’s day treats for my kids.

First up is my Marshmallow Valentine Pops. The kids just love these and they are just so pretty

My Valentine Chocolate Hearts are so easy and quick to make. I will be making loads of these in the morning, so I can scoff them all later on.

  4. We don’t do much different an Valentines Day as it’s my wife’s birthday shortly after then our Wedding Anniversary after that!

  5. I’ve been ill for 6 weeks now and last week we had to cancel our anniversary plans so we’ve decided that we will just have a morrisons meal for 2 this weekend.

  6. It is our Daughter’s birthday on Feb 14th, so we have a family meal and in the evening it will be just my Wife and I listening to some fab music

  10. We’re going to see my son’s girlfriend then having an evening of movies and a takeaway with a glass of wine as my meds won’t allow more than that!!

Me and my son have made a canvas with his little footprints on that spell out i love you for his daddy and ive made homemade vanilla fudge for my husband in shapes of hearts with blue glitter topping with the words i love you written on them 🙂 My husband works abroad lots so he is not with us Valentines day but we have packed his prezzies in his suitcase for when he gets to Jamaica 🙂

  12. With seven children and no hope of a babysitter, we will hope that the children go to bed early so we can eat a takeaway in peace, however its more than likely that at least a few will still be awake and do the puppy dog eyes and I end up sharing half of my romantic meal!!

  13. Nothing actually ON valentines day. My fella is taking Monday 15th Off, we’re shipping off the kids to my mums, he’s making us a fancy 3 course meal, having a bottle of champagne and watching WALKING DEAD !!!!!

  15. We are just back from a family day out at a local open air museum. We are really tired so I think we will have pizza for tea
