With Valentines day just 2 weeks away, I thought I would try to make some yummy Valentines treats for the kids. I have seen loads of cake pops on pinterest but I was recently sent some Mega Marshmallows and I thought these would be a great alternative. Me and my husband don’t really celebrate Valentines day, as he always has to work. With him working in a restaurant, Valentines Day is their busiest day of the year. But I love all the lovely things out there and don’t want the kids to miss out, so that#s why I am making these marshmallow Valentines Pops just for them.
- Mega Marshmallows
- Cake pop sticks
- White chocolate
- Pink food colouring
1. Break up the bar of white chocolate and place in the microwave until just melted. Add a few drops of pink food colouring until you get your desired shade.
2. Place The marshmallow on the cake pop sticks, then dip into the melted chocolate.
3. Sprinkle with your chosen sprinkles.
4. Leave to set in the fridge.
The kids couldn’t wait to eat these when the came back from school. They thought they were yummy! Will be making some more of these for Valentines Day.
What are you doing for Valentines Day? Will you be making some of these for a loved one?
