I can’t believe it’s December all ready! This year has just flown by. I have been very busy with my blog and trying to catch up with my etsy orders. For the last week I have had a really stiff neck and pain in my shoulder. I have no idea what it is, I was walking up to fetch the kids from school and it just started to come on. It got so bad that I was going to go to the doctors as I thought I had done something serious to it. I even had to cancel my driving lesson as I couldn’t look over my shoulder to practice my reversing. It still slightly hurts now, but it’s going off.
I have also been busy sorting out all the raffle prizes for the charity event. Morgan’s Fight Christmas Party, which is next Sunday. If you have not read my past post here about my 2 year old nephew Morgan, I’ll tell you a bit about him. He was diagnosed with a brain tumour on his brain stem about 16 weeks ago. He has been is hospital all this time having keep getting infections. He has just started chemotherapy 2 weeks ago and was allowed to come home. But he was only home for a few days, when his temperature went sky high, so he had to go back into hospital where they found he had a lung infection. He is still in hospital and should be coming back home tomorrow as long as he’s ok.
Me and friends, family and the local community have all come together to help raise funds for Morgan, to send him his mum and dad, and 4 siblings on holiday to Disneyland. The main event is a Kids Christmas Party this Sunday. Where Santa, Olaf and Elsa will be making an appearance. So look out for that post next week. There has also been 2 sponsored walks, sponsored hair cuts, leg shave, psychic night, candle lite party, Cake sale at school, Christmas jumper day at school, auction of a portrait, exercise bike and sign Nottingham forest football shirt, Craft sale, online e-cribbage matches, Zumba and a naked calendar! The support has been absolutely amazing!
We have set up a go fund me page for Morgan, and the target has been met already. But we still need to raise some more, has we have just found out that the insurance to cover Morgan to travel is going to cost a few thousand. So if you would like to make a donation. Please go to www.gofundme.com/morgangraysfight. I think the minimum you can donate is £2. And if you want to keep up to date with Morgan’s progress you can follow him on the facebook group – Morgan’s Fight

We have also just put our Christmas tree up over the weekend. I am really starting to get in the Christmas mood now and really looking forward to the big day. Trying to get everything sorted and all work done, so I don’t have to do anything over Christmas and can have a week or so off work.
At the end of October we received a surprise treat from Bahlsen. Some yummy packs of Pick Up! biscuits. They went down a treat
We also received a sample pack of a special edition pack of Huggies baby wipes. They have Olaf on from Frozen. My daughter really loves these and has asked me to buy them again
We also got to try out the new limited edition Merry Crisp-mas crisp from Tyrrells. They are made from red and white potatoes for a festive look. They are plain with sea salt. Loved these, but would have preferred a more Christmasy flavour.
And we have tried out loads of new and fantastic products that I have shared on the blog this November. Here’s the list.
- Big Alphabet Jigsaw from Orchard Toys
- Wentworth Wooden Puzzle
- Bean Bag Planet review
