There are loads of subscription boxes around at the moment and I have tried one or two. There are loads of beauty boxes, food boxes (see my Degustabox reviews here) and even boxes for your pets. But this box aims to help you relax and unwind. You can find products like chocolate, bath oils, candles and herbal teas. The perfect box to help you chill out.

Serene Surprises only launched a few months ago with the November box being just their second one.

When it arrived I instantly fell in love with the box, it was just so pretty.

When I open the lid the contents was wrapped in lilac tissue paper.

Inside the box was 5 items.

  • Clipper Sleep Easy Tea bags
  • A foot massager
  • Green & Black’s Organic milk Chocolate
  • Organic Surge Deep Cleansing Face Mask
  • Organic Surge Overnight Sensation Night Cream

I was quite impressed. I had a nice bath, then came down stairs and made myself a cup of the sleep easy tea. I sat on the sofa and drank my tea and ate my yummy chocolate while rolling my feet over the foot roller. It was bliss. I am in love with the foot roller, and I feel a little bit embarrassed to say that I never knew what it was. I have had some before that I have got out of gift sets at Christmas, but always thought it was for your back. And it just didn’t work on me. Now I know it’s for your feet, I finally used it the way it’s supposed to be used. And it is lovely! Please don’t tell me I am the only one who never knew what these were for?!

The tea was really nice. Normally I just like teas that you can add milk too, as I find that with fruit and herbal teas I always add way to much sugar. But I really liked this one and will be buying it again. Also Clipper is my favourite brand of tea, but I have never seen this one before. The chocolate is divine, I ate it all within minutes!

I haven’t tried the face products yet, as I am currently trying out another product which I have to review. So will try these out in a few more days.

Overall, I really loved this box and really want to try out the next one. The previous Octobers box, looks great, so really want to try out December’s

I tried this box without knowing the price. I hate subscription boxes that have prices really high. So before I looked on the website to see what this costs, I had a guess. I would pay between £10-£15. And my guess was about right. The boxes cost £15 a month + £3.99 postage, so you’re looking at around £19, which isn’t bad. You can also buy the boxes in 3, 6 or 12 months subscriptions which work out a bit cheaper for each box. And the items in the boxes are worth at least £25.

This is one subscription box I highly recommend. You can subscribe to Serene Surprises here

I received November’s Serene Surprises Box in return for this post. All opinions are mine

  1. I’ve not heard about Serene surprise box before. I like the products included in your review. I haven’t subscribed to any of these beauty boxes before but I’m considering doing as a treat.

  2. I would try the ‘Sleep easy teas’ as I need something to help me go
to sleep and this sounds just right for me.

  3. I always find unwanted items in subscription boxes I’m afraid and this one is no different. I do love the unboxing however
