I love Orchard Toys and my kids already have a few of their games and puzzles. You can see my review of their Bus Stop Game here. I was so excited when they asked me to be one of their official testers. You can see my badge down the bottom right hand side of my blog.  The first game we got to review is Robot Run.

Robot run 1

The game is suitable for ages 3 – adults. And for 2-4 players and priced at £7.50.

You start with 5 cards each and the aim of the game is to be the first one to get rid of their cards by matching the robots to the card in the middle. You can match the robots by both colour and robot type.

We have played this game a few times. Both Aaron, 4, and Caitlin, 5, really loved this game and has become one of their favourites. Ryan, 10, had a play, but wasn’t that interested. But he did say he would play again when we have our monthly family night.

Here are a few pics of me and Caitlin playing it together. Has usual she won, I haven’t even won once!

The playing cards are really thick and an off rectangle shape which the kids liked and made the game a bit different looking to other games. A very high quality that will last years. This is a fantastic game for kids still learning their colours.

I would highly recommend this game to anyone with young kids. So much fun.

Family Fever

I received this game in return for this post. All opinions are mine

  1. I bet your kids think ‘normal jobs are’ testing toys because you’re a blogger, I know my nephew has said he wants to help people exercise when he grows up (I’m a fitness blogger) haha!
Love the game, your kids are gorgeous! 🙂
