We decided to do some resist art the other day.
for this all you need is

Paper
Scotch Magic Tape
Paint
Paint brush

My youngest Aaron was feeling a bit ill, so just my and Caitlin, 4, did this project. Caitlin has been learning her name and things that being with the letter C. First I made a letter C shape on the paper with the magic tape

Then simply paint over the entire paper with what ever colour you like. Caitlin use pink and blue, and also mixed some together to make purple. Let the Paint dry fully, then just wash away the paint over the top of the magic tape. The Scotch Magic Tape is invisible so you don’t have to remove it.

Here is one of the resist are we did together
We ripped the paper on this one, as Caitlin got over excited and tried to rip the scotch tape off the paper inside of just wipe the paint off it
but apart from the holes, it came out really good.
We will be doing this again in a few days when Aaron is feeling better

I received some Scotch Magic tape and was compensated for this post. All opinions are mine and 100% honest

  1. This is a great project for little ones. Easy to do and doesn’t look like it would be that messy. Also lots of different things they could do with it.
