I’ve seen quite a few twig stars on Pinterest and thought I’d have a go at making some myself as they look really pretty in the garden.
All you need to make these are 5 twigs approx the same size, or just cut some to size. Place them in a 5 point star shape and fasten the ends together with twine. I didn’t have any twine so I improvised and used grey yarn instead.
Just make sure that when you fasten the twigs together that you overlap some to give it my stability. Don’t just place them on top of each other and fasten as this will make it quite wobbly.
I also covered one in modge podge and sprinkle some gold glitter over it so give it a bit of sparkle
Here’s another Twig craft

My kids are always picking up sticks and twigs on our walks so this is a lovely creative idea to do with their collections.

What a cute idea! I am so into twigs right now. 🙂 I need to start taking some nature walks now so I can collect some.
Natasha! Gorgeous! I love these. Pinned this so I remember to make them. They are lovely!
Very cute. I’m not good with my hands at all, I would somehow manage to mess them up, i’m sure.
I love this idea! My kids are always collecting sticks.
Cute idea!
I love that this is really cute, but seems simple and quick to do. One of my biggest problems with doing a lot of crafts is they take up more time than I have.
This would be lovely for Christmas! We could pick up sticks and twigs on our woodland walks, create these fabulous stars and spray paint them gold or silver and decorate with a little bit of holly to decorate our home.
These are lovely, will have to try them.
Love these. We made some at school with the kids recently! #makeitlinky
Cute – I think I will try making them into a mobile or wall-hanging of some sort.
I can see these looking lovely hanging from a tree in our garden, especially in wintertime when the branches are bare. Pinning for later x #MakeItLinky
This looks like a lovely nature make and I think my eldest and I would particularly love decorating them with glitter. #MakeItLinky
These are SO pretty! I’ve tried to make twig stars before, but failed. Yours are very sweet xx #MakeItLinky
