Handmade Twig stars
I’ve seen quite a few twig stars on Pinterest and thought I’d have a go at making some myself as they look really pretty in the garden.
All you need to make these are 5 twigs approx the same size, or just cut some to size. Place them in a 5 point star shape and fasten the ends together with twine. I didn’t have any twine so I improvised and used grey yarn instead.
Just make sure that when you fasten the twigs together that you overlap some to give it my stability. Don’t just place them on top of each other and fasten as this will make it quite wobbly.
I also covered one in modge podge and sprinkle some gold glitter over it so give it a bit of sparkle

Here’s another Twig craft

  1. I love crafts! These seems so cute and easy! I’m going to pin this to use it for later! Thanks so much for stopping by and linking up with us at Countdown in Style! Don’t forget to stop by Friday to see if you are featured! 🙂 xo

  2. I love that this is really cute, but seems simple and quick to do. One of my biggest problems with doing a lot of crafts is they take up more time than I have.

  3. This would be lovely for Christmas! We could pick up sticks and twigs on our woodland walks, create these fabulous stars and spray paint them gold or silver and decorate with a little bit of holly to decorate our home.

  4. This looks like a lovely nature make and I think my eldest and I would particularly love decorating them with glitter. #MakeItLinky
