Last year when we made our summer bucket list all we did was write everything down on a piece of paper and tick them off when we did them. But this year I thought we’d put a bit more effort in making our list.
So we painted some clothes pegs in lovely summery colours.
At first we just held the pegs in our hands to paint them, but we were getting paint everywhere. So we use a plastic cup. We stuck a few pegs on at a time to even out the weight so it didn’t tip up. We painted the pegs then left them to dry on the cup

We wrote all the things on the list that we wanted to do in the summer holidays on the pegs then clipped then round the edge of the bucket. And when we have done something on our list, we simply place the peg in the bucket

  1. What a great idea! I just pinned a fall bucket list on Pinterest. I am totally going to make one of these for it. I am sure you will see it on my blog soon (totally giving you full credit). I’m your newest follower. If you get a chance, stop by my blog =)

  2. This is a lovely idea – could be used in so many ways – it would even make the chores seem less daunting than a conventional list. What colour would I choose for the ‘walking the dog’ peg or the ‘ check the accounts’ list?

  3. What a brilliant idea, love it, this is a project we will do this week, its something which can be done in the garden and will be interesting to see what they write down
